Jon Valenzuela - Shot Of Adrenaline

A debut single from Sydney, Australia, now as Jon Valenzuela (great name) brings us his first release, 'A Shot Of Adrenaline'. Agitated guitars and frenetic drums get us underway before the flailing beast is calmed with some smooth string sounds in the background and layers of vocals from the man himself. The energy and creativity is head spinningly brilliant and if you're a fan of bands like Bicurious, Incubus, or Hot Hot Heat then this will appeal but I'd love to hear those vocals a little higher in the mix so they don't feel quite so swamped. That said, I'd always vote for great ideas over polished production so I'm definitely on board for this one.
