I'm genuinely in love with the voice of Canadian artist AHI who is one of the rising soul talents around in 2021 so I'm keen to share that joy with you. AHI's new single, 'Coldest Fire', features a forlorn acoustic melody and the aforementioned vocals that come with an honesty, rawness and emotion that I haven't heard in such a long time. As the song builds with organs, a choir and an infectious beat you get the feeling that you're listening to Gregory Porter but with more urgency and a more contemporary vibe.
