I’m not sure how or why the band
name Seratones has slipped through the net thus far but kudos to this LA
collective for picking up on some low hanging fruit. Furthermore, mega-kudos
for creating the perfect break-up song in ‘Over You’ and the superb
accompanying video. The rhythm section get things moving before the rest of the
band join in to create a soulful, neo-Motown jam with screeching guitars and
smooth piano licks. The sultry but steely vocals of frontwoman A.J. Haynes seal
the deal on this anthem of self-worth and the video of self-love just puts the
popped cherry on top of the cream cake.
