Bristol’s Erotic Secrets of
Pompeii are steadily making a play for a place in the darkest recesses of my
heart with new single ‘Venus Ascending’ the latest single release from the
quintet. The bass lurches menacingly to the lounge beat from Satan’s personal
casino and it’s hard not to find yourself hypnotised by this tune. The swagger
of the Killers mixed with the raw delivery of IDLES is a heady brew but when it
tastes this sweet and sticky it is nigh on impossible to resist so why even
