I like to cherry pick my first review of the year and this one jumped out at me for a number of reasons. Firstly, the title ('AI Can Suck My...) feels pertinent on a global and local level at the moment and, secondly, the artist (Mighty One Man Band) is the brilliantly intense Bruce Atomo who has a style that just smacks you in the face before giving you a hug. This is raw and unfiltered bedroom produced garage punk with a spiky energy but with an 80s inspired breakdown and the unrestrained social commentary of a Reddit forum with a microphone plugged into it. That's right, we're starting the year angry but it doesn't mean we can't have a party at the same time.
