Leeds duo Sunflower Theives are
making a welcome return to my ears with new single ‘Hide and Seek’ and it might
just be exactly what I need in this crazy, mixed up world. A lazy, summer’s
evening acoustic strum is matched by the, frankly, ridiculous vocal harmonies
of Amy Illingworth and Lily Sturt-Bolshaw and pretty soon we’re drifting away
on a raft made of dreams floating on a river made of hope. At some point a
crunching, organic beat joins in and some strings weave their way through the
reeds on the riverbank to complete the gorgeous experience. Thank you,
