South Devon trio Pylon Poets are kicking off the new year with another storming single in the shape of 'Saviour'. Emerging from the smoke like a swaggering space cowboy, this track is full of futuristic bravado and flanked by the kind of guitars that make you want to buy leather trousers even though you know its a very bad idea. The hook and groove combination gets right under your skin and the vocals are as assured and cool as you could hope for from a rock song. Add in some excellent production qualities and tight musicianship and, well, it's slightly mad that this song and this band aren't playing bigger venues......yet. Their time will come.
