If you're not in love with this track after five seconds then I'm not sure we can be friends. You see, Fake Dad introduce their new single, 'So Simple!' with a crisp hi-hat and beefy, fuzzed-up bass combo that makes you tingle with excitement and that's more than I bargained for in January. The LA duo then add in some dead-eyed, cooler-than-ice vocals and a sense of cool that is part Yeah Yeah Yeahs, part Long Blondes and part the Gossip. The thrashy crescendo makes for the kind of tumult you want in a live show let alone on record. Superb stuff.
