THE VELVET HANDS - SINGLE REVIEW

The Velvet Hands - Caller

Release Date: Out Now

A little end of year treat for you from Cornish indie upstarts the Velvet Hands as they head into their last gig of the year. 'Caller' is a considered and assured track that has a hint of the Arctic Monkeys about it in the shimmering guitars and stuttering, gun riff drums. Then again, the vocals are more akin Paul Weller in his Style Council era and the whole vibe is sprinkled with the reflections from a slowly turning glitter-ball. Whichever way you look at it, the Velvet Hands are evolving their songwriting along with their sound and it bodes extremely well for 2025.
