18 year old LA singer-songwriter Lou Lou Safran might only be at the start of her musical career but there is a maturity and old soul sound to her music, based purely on the new single 'Parallel Lines'. The country tinged melodies are matched by the vocals of a young Dolly Parton but there's something more cutting and edgy to the song if you listen beyond the soothing lap steel guitar. There's more than meets the ears to Lou Lou Safran so I'm going to keep listening.
