The video and music combination on this new release from Tlya X An is more than a little disturbing but I mean that in a very positive way. 'Ninja' opens with a solitary beat provided by a grinning drummer with blood stained teeth and then Tlya X An's impish, almost ghostly vocals join in delivering lines like "even dreams of hell can be beautiful". The melody is sparse but this song is more about the beat and vocal combination which does more in two minutes than a lot of bands manage in a whole album.
