Irish solo project Queen Bitch (aka Roisin Bohan) has just released latest single 'Turn The Lights Down' which fizzes and crackles with electric energy from the very start. Garage influenced guitars and dead-eyed vocals make this a menacing prospect from the start but the addition of the rumbling drums and the repeated lyric "turn the lights down, turn them right down" make this even more unsettling. The guitars become almost hypnotic and the energy is relentless giving you the sense that your being pushed and pulled around by the music. And you should just let it happen. Go with it.
