Global superstar Camila Cabello might well be at the top of her game but don't fall for the idea that she's churning out soulless pop records. Latest single 'Godspeed' is a somber, end of the night tune with minimal instrumentation but Cabello's voice rings out like a mix of UPSAHL and Lana Del Rey singing lines like "Peace is so elusive, Joy is so elusive, Kisses to my muses, Truces for the bruises". This is dark, confessional pop with sense of the bleak and lost but it is still pop of the highest order.
