Swansea outfit Baby Schillaci take no prisoners on their brooding and menacing new single 'Blunt Force Trauma'. The droning riff and spoken word vocals give this an At the Drive-In meets Cable in a dark alley vibe at the start but then the drums pierce the wall of guitars and the whole thing grows in energy. There are elements of the Fall, Colour TV and Rage Against the Machine in here but all delivered with that Nirvana-esque sense of not needing to rush or conform because you, the listener, are in the presence of greatness so you'll wait to hear what comes next.
