OCTOBER DRIFT - SINGLE REVIEW

October Drift - Tyrannosaurus Wreck (Physical
Education Records)

Release Date: Out Not

I really hope the work ethic and brilliance of October Drift starts to gain them some recognition soon because if anyone deserves to go big time it's these guys. The quartet's new single, the brilliantly named 'Tyrannosaurus Wreck', rumbles and swaggers with desperate ominous energy but also huge melodies and stadium sized energy. If Simple Minds had been born later and got into the grunge scene then this might have been the outcomes. It also might have been awful though so let's just be grateful that we're alive at the same time as October Drift, yeah?
