Having only really formed in January of 2024, Bottlemoth have already formed a sound that is both mature and ear catching. The quintet's new single, 'You'll Always Have Us', is intense, itchy and lively from the get-go with an energy akin to Belle & Sebastian at their angriest or the Maccabees at their most uplifting. This is the kind of song that will stop you in your tracks and make you feel all the feelings as the chiming guitars and driving drums keep the momentum going even though the vocals show vulnerability and emotion. I'd love to hear more from this lot and especially live.
