There's a stirring in the waters of October Drift land as they approach the release of their new album and new single 'Demons' is definitely making ripples. Searing, soaring guitars break across the horizon before the vocals join in with a sense of being part preacher and part heartbroken man as they sing; "Wrap your arms around my neck, I miss you like a cigarette, I miss you like the setting sun, like cement lying in my lungs". The thumping drums and raw sound puts me in mind of really early U2 or Chappaqua Wrestling which, in my opinion, is really rather good.
