It might not be out until the end of the month but I wanted to give you a heads up on the latest release from Stockholm's Emilie Thorsby. 'Fake Love' is a heartbroken and abandoned affair but set to a pulsating dance-pop melody that straddles the Eurovision and alt-pop genres. The vocals call out from the shadows, echoing into the night, the beat never quits and there's even a flamenco inspired Spanish guitar solo that fans the flames of passion and heartbreak. There are many ways of dealing with a broken heart and this is one of the better ones, that's for sure.
