This is the debut release from Belfast's Cairo Station but don't go thinking this is some group of freshlings stumbling their way around a fret board. No siree, the trio of Felix, Ben and Cara make their entrance with 'Menace', a song that swaggers in on a big beat and low slung bass line before the crunching guitars join in to add a little light to the doomy gloom. Assured vocals and a tight sound put me in mind of Muncie Girls or the Joy Formidable and, all in all, I'm firmly of the opinion that these three will go far so let's enjoy the ride.
