Up and coming Irish alt-popper Fee Gray has dropped their new single 'Hoe Phase' and for anyone not down with modern parlance, this is not a pro-gardening song. The uplifting and light alt-pop melodies juxtapose brilliantly with the lyrical content which bemoans the moment when you fall in love with the person you were just intending to fool around with. The chorus kicks up in to an indie-grunge vibe and Gray unleashes their ice-cold vocal delivery which is one of the most powerful and unique voices that I've heard this year. More please.
