Throbbing. That is the first word that comes to mind when you hear Lambrini Girls' new single 'God's Country' for the first time. Imagine the approach of classic IDLES delivered through gritted teeth taking down every single trope of being British set to the sound of searing guitars and stomping drums as we take a tour of London landmarks. The video is also brilliantly (if a little starkly) informative as we get flashed information about how reliant this great country is on food banks and how many women are living in period poverty. This should be shown in every school and then the kids should be given time to discuss and act on it. Essential listening.
