Man, if this song had been released in the mid-90s, the Evening Session would have been all over it but as we're all a little older and more experienced now, surely we won't get so excited? The thing is, when the Dandy Warhols bring Pixies frontman Black Francis in for a jam, they're only going to create something special - it's inevitable. 'Danzig With Myself' is typically swirly and psyched out but the grungy, distorted bass line gives this some real teeth and the tripped-out vocals coming at you from all angles are enough to make you assume the fetal position in the corner until you pass out from laughing. It's a trip, alright, but not one you should probably take on your own.
