Cork's Stacey K brings the lo-fi bedroom pop vibes on her new single 'Girls Gays Theys' and although is a charming little tune, it is sure to have Joey Barton & the Gammons all in a froth. The keyboard intro and melody has a hint of Helen Love or the Lovely Eggs about it but the deadpan vocal delivery of lyrics that attack the demonisation and othering of, well, 'Girls Gays Theys' is a Trojan horse of an attack strategy. Beautiful music, brilliant message, sad that we have to have this in the world.
