Hard-working Falmouth outfit Mothman, The Man are back with their mysteriously titled new single 'Mother Leeds' 13th Child Pts. 1 & 2' so you'd better be ready. A wall of psyched out goth infused guitars and drums hit you with every conceivable gap filled with thickly slathered organs and then it all melts away to a more tripped-out but still ominous pace. The song undulates from calmly menacing to all-out temper tantrum like a slasher movie turned in to a song and that is a brilliant energy to encapsulate on its own but the redemption of the last two and a half minutes is a gloriously Nirvana vs Mudhoney inspired grunge fest that leaves you with just enough hope to survive the night.
