Indonesian trio Thee Marloes are a sound for sore ears on new single 'True Love'. Smoky guitars and a shuffling beat make for a Tarantino-esque introduction that wafts out seductively from the dark room at the end of the corridor. Then comes the siren song of the vocal delivery which is part Shirley Bassey and part Goldfrapp making for an exquisitely enthralling experience. Tie the whole thing up with a slow but oh-so-cool bassline and you've got yourself the kind of tunes that babies are made to and people get shot after hearing....in the movies.
