Plymouth based Amber Jade Smith is back with her brand new single 'Honey' but don't be fooled, this isn't as sickly sweet as the title might suggest. Sure, the vocals are pure and sugary in their smooth pop-rock tone but the jangling guitar and glitchy atmospherics give this an altogether sharper edge. There are elements of Chrissie Hynde to this and hints of 80s pop-rock like Roxette but all with a unique edge that makes it all the more delicious.
