The fact that UK rock duo the Pearl Hearts haven't exploded yet is, frankly, criminal but for the time being they are just for us so let's enjoy them, shall we? The pair's new single, 'Comin' Down', starts with a moody and wistful guitar melody, soon joined by a hand-clapped rhythm and dirty distortion underneath the Chrissie Hynde-esque vocals. When the drums kick in and the chorus melody grabs you by the crotch, you know you're listening to the kind of song that will have the hairs on the back of your neck (and other places) standing on end whether you hear it live or on the car stereo.
