Lilac - Touch

Reading outfit Lilac might come across as indie-rockers at the start of their new single but 'Touch' has a sting in the tail so don't let your guard down. The moody melodies and angst-ridden vocals make for a compelling and engaging listen but about half way through this song crunches in to life with powerhouse drums and a wall of guitars. There are elements of My Vitriol, Evanescence and Pink all stirred together in this powerful rock gumbo with a little emo sprinkled on top for extra flavour and that is a sound you don't hear much of these days so I'm here for that all day long.
