It's always a pleasure to be sent new music from Danish artist Ida Wenoe and new single 'Don't You Grow Weary' is not exception. Wenoe's impish vocals chime out like bird song on a frosty morning as the strings nervously play in the background until a laconic acoustic melody joins in. The vocals start to sing in the round, doubling the joy for Ida Wenoe fans, and the vibe is part folk and part slowed down pop with a sense of hope and optimism. Violin, tambourine and the first flushes of sun on a winter's morn all add to the general lusciousness of this track and you'd be a stone-hearted fool not to fall in love with a song like this.
