This track is fantastic but the effort that has been put in to the accompanying video is a very large cherry on a delicious cake. Erin K's new single, 'Breathe', opens with a sharp, punchy beat alongside moody melodies but it's the vocals that really make this stick out. Part First Aid Kit's nu-country twang, part Chrissie Hynde cool and part Florence Welch's sense of the dramatic, Erin K has a voice that draws you in to her world of drama and intrigue. And of course, why wouldn't you pair that with some deadpan and brilliantly stylish sychronised swimming in an old Birmingham swimming pool? It's just the perfect pairing.
