Devon based rock collective Seneca have stepped it up on new single 'Plateau' and the brilliant accompanying video. Based around an angular bass line and syncopated drumming, this track pings and bounces with a brilliant unpredictability that demands your attention. The semi-crooning vocals and guitars that are inspired by Zappa and Biffy in equal measure just add to the assault on the senses. This track puts Seneca alongside contemporaries Colour TV and Erotic Secrets of Pompeii but with a harder edge keeping them firmly in the rock category.
