Damnit, as much as I resist them Snake Eyes have wormed (or snaked) their way in to my affections over the past few singles and their latest release 'Crybaby' has tipped me over the edge. A gorgeous and thumping bass line, pinging guitars and drums that Animal would be proud of all provide a platform for the band to preach their pro-feelings agenda - "don't hold back tears, gotta let 'em out, my health is more than I think about". There is groove, there is energy, there is a message and all wrapped up in a melody. Boss.
