Cornish artist Maisy Grace is not only going from strength to strength in 2023 but she is exceeding all expectations at the moment and 'Break It Down' is another great track complete with a set of remixes which is something you don't see enough of these days. The original version of this track features some lush string sounds, a Rudimental-esque beat and some stabbing notes that allow the vocals to roam freely with a jazz-pop vibe that is irresistible. The Azido 88 remix takes things down a few notches to make this a more sparse experience, the Flashback remix is a little more 'Friday night getting ready for the club' in terms of vibes and the Kouncilhouse remix gives this a trip-hop edge which I think wins the prize for me.
