London based Camden Cox is ready to step out and be noticed in the throng of pretenders to the pop throne but that is, largely, because she's taking a more dance/EDM route. Breathy vocals and shuddering melodies get things going using the voice as a instrument and a means of communication which is both effective and enthralling. Cox's DJ background has clearly helped her developed an ear for an infectious beat and the kind of melody that will keep people moving all night long and that makes for the kind of edgy dance track that transcends pop and the need for popularity.
