I'm genuinely excited about the forthcoming new album from Sophie Ellis-Bexter based on the singles so far and 'Everything Is Sweet' is no exception. The disco beat and Giorgio Moroder synths combine brilliantly to make a swirling, spinning sound that only Ellis-Bexter's perfectly poised pop vocals could have any hope of controlling. The innocence and sheer delight of this track is infectious and intoxicating like watching someone lost in music and not caring who knows it. Everything really is sweet.
