Potentially named after their local curry house, 'Spice King' is the new single from Yorkshire noiseniks Feral Family and it's a bit of a beast (much like the House Special Phall). A grumbling, menacing bass line and punchy beat law a gravelly base for the guitars to swoon over with a Smiths meets Erotic Secrets of Pompeii energy. The vocals are bordering on the prog as they croon, scream and do a flambouyant back stroke in a sensory deprivation pool of delay. Definitely one to let wash over you at full volume if you get the opportunity.
