It is always a good day when new music from Rews arrives in my ears and with the joyous new single 'Misery' this is a very good day indeed. There's a deceptively quiet and calm opening to this track as the breathy vocals and deft guitars get us underway but soon enough the drums slam in and the guitars kick up a few notches. There's a distinctive and brilliant energy to Rews that gets straight in to your head and your bones through their infectious melodies and the sweet but powerful vocals. This is the start of the next phase for Rews and it is looking (and sounding) very good indeed.
