If there was a Hollywood movie made of Molly Warburton's life with a little blurring of the truth then she would the heir to a baking empire only to reject it all, a la Hop, for glittering pop career. In reality, I don't know enough about the Lancastrian's family heritage but the glittering pop career is certainly on the cards based on her latest single 'Gravity'. This one flutters in to life gently like a slow sunrise but Warburton's vocals skit with more energy and when the chorus drops the two align for something truly uplifting. There's a 90s vibe along the lines of Natalie Imbruglia or Natasha Bedingfield but with a sharper, more contemporary production quality that helps this one become a proper earworm.
