Born in Iran, raised in Holland and living in London, Eyelar is an intriguing prospect before the first note is sung but once 'Think Like A Man' gets going you realise this is far more than a prospect or mere intrigue. Assured pop vocals and a driving melody makes for a powerful combination that is hard to resist as Eyelar hits her stride with a Scandinavian pop vibe but big, US radio chops. Robyn and Angie vs Perry and Gaga in a battle for the pop crown is how this plays out but with a firm and defiant feminist stance. Perfect.
