Overcoats are a new duo to my ears but I'm looking forward to hearing more based on this gorgeous new single. New single 'Never Let You Go' has a real poise to it that is reflected in the carefully choreographed video but completely juxtaposed in the lyrics which speak of a tempestuous relationship and the volcanic passion that can be created by the friction between two personalities. The constant two part vocal harmonies are so powerful that, when combined with the ear-worm melodies, you will be hard pushed to shake this one off even after it's finished - like a siren song for 2023 pulling you in to the rocks but oh what a sweet way to go.
