This right here is two and a half minutes of pure infatuation captured in soulful vocals and a heavy organ groove. New York city's Dakota Jones are wearing their hearts and other organs on their sleeves on new single 'Sugar Pie' which feels like a slow jam you could get down and dirty to but it would need to be either on a loop or an extended mix. The horns, drums, bass, vocals and keys all mingle and writhe like two bodies intertwining on silk sheets in the mid-afternoon sunshine and I could listen to that kind of music all day long. All. Day. Long.
