Cornish lads the Velvet Hands are heading in to 2023 with a new album ready to pop but before we get there, there is one more release for 2022. 'Over It Now' has a call and response vocal thing going on which furthers their gang-mentality vibe as the understated guitars stroll casually along and a sense of resigned determination falls over the track. I can feel the spirit of a young Mick Jagger inhabiting this track and that's a rock'n'roll icon I can get on board with. Can you?
