I'm a little bit in love with Jon Fazal and we've only just met. A forlorn piano melody and Fazal's rich, deep vocal introduces new single 'Those Days' and instantly you're swept away on a gentle wave of nostalgia and regret. If you're a fan of the Divine Comedy, Richard Hawley, Arctic Monkeys ballads, Badly Drawn Boy or staring at the rain running down windows from beneath a blanket then this is going to be right up your street. The Devon based singer-songwriter seems like an unassuming man but it's always the quiet ones you want to watch out for and if you don't fall in love with this song by the time Simon Dobson's trumpet solo chimes in then I don't think we can be friends. Sorry. Not sorry.
