James Sebastian - Bedsheets

"Imagine if Harry Styles fronted Led Zeppelin". That's the key strap line from the press blurb that accompanies this latest release from Devon artist James Sebastian but I've got to say, I disagree. I have nothing against any of the artists in question but there is too much raw energy here to be likened to Styles when actually 'Bedsheets' sounds more like a young Joe Cocker singing with a band featuring Edwyn Collins on lead guitar. There's a gravelly, rasping vocal tone that really brings home the message of raw sex appeal and it is unapologetically direct in delivering that message so if you get out to see James Sebastian then I'd suggest you take some protection. Or lube. Your choice.
