Huzzah, Emily Breeze is back! Did she go away? Probably not. But she's back nonetheless and she has new single 'The Bell' wrapped in a bow for us. Driving indie beats and distorted, desperate vocals get things underway with an energy that sits in the middle of Pulp, Florence + the Machine and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs driving through the city streets at night. The swagger and power of the music is matched by the emphatic chorus lyric of "Fuck it, tomorrow's gonna be alright" delivered with the kind of abandon you get at the end of a long shitty day. Oh, and that guitar sound? Wow. Just wow.
