This is the debut single from Abby Simone and I wanted to mention that up front to make sure you understand just how good this is. 'Same Sunrise' has the kinds of guitars that feel almost organic, drenched in sunshine and moving slowly on a warm breeze to riffle through your hair and gently sway your hammock. Then there's Simone's vocal which is equally elemental with smooth, soulful tones and pure, unadulterated, natural ability. This is a voice that could stop hearts, win wars and break up marriages but it is used with only love and warmth in mind so just close your eyes and let this wash over your weary soul. This would be impressive from anyone but as a debut offering? Sensational.
