If Jose Gonzalez and Jamie T had a secret love child who had been locked in a South London attic with a Macbook, acoustic guitar and a copy of Garageband then you'd get something like Props. The soloist has produced 'Before You Let Go' which has a 100mph manic energy veering from acoustic strummage to big beats and back again punctuated by Wilhelm screams and deadpan vocals to die for. This is a two-minute pick and mix of a song but I love every second of it and wouldn't you rather have two minutes of exhilaration than ten minutes of tedium? I know I would.
