Creative duo Avawaves have scored and composed the entire soundtrack to surfing film Savage Waters but they're teasing us with this release and it's one hell of a tease. 'Surf High' is the closing track of the full collection and it swells and undulates like deceptively calm waters at day break as the experienced surfers wait and watch for that elusive wave. Strings swoon, the beat pulses and the sprinkled melodies scatter like water droplets falling in slow motion from tousled hair on to sleek surfboard. Stunning stuff.
