Just when I thought I couldn't love Wooze any more than I already do, they go and drop new single 'Huge Axeman' and the, frankly, brilliant but bonkers accompanying video. The trademark lazer cut guitars and low slung vocals get us straight in to the Wooze groove while the angular, 80s inspired structures keep you guessing all the way along. There is charm, style and a confident swagger the likes of which you don't get enough of these days. Combine that with the video which looks like a knock of He-Man remake featuring an array of bizarre baddies and you've got one of the genuinely most astonishing and brilliant releases of the year. Bravo.
