JAKE MORLEY - SINGLE REVIEW

Jake Morley - Hands

Release Date: Out Now

I am so, so excited that the peerless Jake Morley is back with a new single and I don't care who knows it. Essentially, this is an ode to the things at the end of our arms but, as is always the way with Morley, there is something uniquely beautiful about this song. Smooth vocals, undulating melodies and a gently driving beat all combine to create a warming and soothing song that lets you focus on the lyrics like "Hands, not always clever, the power to hurt and make things better". In a world where songwriting has become mechanical, predictable and guided by algorithms, Jake Morley stands head and shoulders (and hands) above the rest.
